While it may not make Knoxville “Running Back High” just yet, the Panthers are going to be very deep at that position this year. Carter Bailey, Brady Pearson, new face Lane Bach, who transferred from Gladbrook-Reinbeck High School. Plus Coach Eric Kellar is toying with the idea of using Ben Olson as a full back at times. Kellar tells KRLS Sports he may use as many as four running backs in next week’s season opener against Fairfield to see what he has going forward. Kellar says it is a good problem to have, more importantly opponents will not be able to key on one back if he can interchange personnel this season.
