If the Pella Christian football team wants a third straight trip to the UNI Dome, they’ll have to keep producing points and putting pressure on opposing defenses. In the last four seasons, the Eagles have finished in the top ten in total offensive yards, and in two of those years, scored the most points of anyone in Class 1A (2016 and 2017). Since the beginning of the 2014 season, Pella Christian is averaging 407 yards and 41 points per game. Quarterbacks Coach Brad Jungling says that has to do with the system Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator Rich Kacmarynski has installed — one that has transcended many of the great athletes who have hit the field at Eagle Lane. Hear more about the Pella Christian offense and how it works so well on tomorrow night’s Football Friday Night Playbook during the Jeromy Dingeman Concrete Football Friday Night Radio Preview Show at 4:30 p.m. on KNIA/KRLS. The Eagles home opener at Oskaloosa can be heard live on 92.1 KRLS Friday, with pregame at 6:30 p.m.
