The debut of Emily Holterhaus at UNI highlighted several former Pella and Pella Christian volleyball players contributing at the next level.

Holterhaus has already made an impact for the Panthers after they opened the weekend 2-1 with wins over Texas State and Liberty, and a 3-1 loss to No. 4 in the Nation Texas. Emily has 27 kills to just eight errors, and tallied three blocks against Texas State.

Natalie Clayberg, who came up through the Lady Dutch ranks with Holterhaus, has started three matches for the Wartburg Knights, producing 16 kills in her first three matches for the 2-1 Knights. Fellow classmate Kennady Klein is also in the American Rivers Conference at Nebraska Wesleyan, where she has tallied 13 digs for the 3-1 Prairie Wolves.

A pair of sisters have played a key role on an undefeated start for the Northwestern College Raiders, as A.J. Kacmarynski (Horstman) and Bekah Horstman have proven effective playing together, as A.J. has 76 kills and Bekah 63 for the No. 7 ranked team in the NAIA. Bekah has 21 blocks as well, and A.J. has 8 service aces.

Former Eagles Madysen Zula and Emma Huisman have seen the floor for Trinity Christian College, who started the season 2-5.
