Both volleyball and cross country are in action tonight for Melcher-Dallas. The Volleyball squad hops the bus to Moulton-Udell for another Bluegrass Conference match. The Saints are 2-0 on the season after dispatching Orient-Macksburg last week and Mormon Trail on Tuesday in five sets. So far on the young season, the Saints have been getting good front line play and Coach Jesyka Nolte has liked the serving from her team. Meanwhile, the cross country squads will travel to Wayne for an invitational. The lone girls runner for the Saints, J’Lyn Knutson placed third in the Albia meet on Tuesday. For the boys Emery Sage placed third and led the Saints to a seventh place team finish.
