Melcher-Dallas athletic squads are busy tonight with the volleyball Saints hosting another Bluegrass Conference opponent as Moravia is in town. The Saints are 3-0 on season sweeping their last opponent Moulton-Udell in three sets. In that match, Melcher-Dallas was 60/61 serving, brining the total for the season to 46 and a serve percentage at 916. The JV match will be at 5:30 with the varsity match to follow. The Cross Country runners will be at Central Decatur for a meet. The Saints have been off since last week’s meet in Albia where girls runners J’Lyn Knutson placed third and boys runner Emery Sage placed third and led his team to a seventh place finish. Action gets underway in Leon at five.
