Hospice of Pella has scheduled the next six-week training class. The program will be held on Tuesday evenings from September 24 – October 29, from 6:30 – 9 pm each evening at the Comfort House meeting room. Hospice of Pella volunteers are members of the community donating time in service of those Hospice of Pella serves. The role of the Comfort House and home hospice volunteers is often behind the scenes. All hospice volunteers are required to complete the volunteer training class, which gives participants the chance to learn more about the hospice program and philosophy, as well as explore their own feelings about life and death.
