The Indianola girls swimming team traveled to Des Moines Roosevelt Thursday evening, coming up just short against the Rough Riders 104-79 and defeated Perry 128-28. The medley relay of Brooklyn Pottebaum, Emily Thompson, Hannah McFarland and Kinsli Cram took home a first place victory, Pottebaum, Jorja Culver, Emily Thompson and Kinsli Cram teamed up to win the 200 Freestyle Relay, and Katie Thompson won the 100 Breastroke in a time of 1:19.35. The Indians will host their first meet of the season next Thursday against Des Moines Lincoln.
