The Knoxville Football Squad will try to get off to a 3-0 start tonight for the first time since 2015. To do that, the Panthers must defeat a Centerville squad that has ran through two other South Central Conference members in Albia and Davis County. The Big Reds rely on a tough run game from back McCain Oden and quarterback Quinton Koestner. Panthers Coach Eric Kellar tells KRLS Sports Centerville has several different formations where the Big Reds split out wide. Kellar adds it may come down to a seven-on-seven situation and not give up 300 yards on the ground in which Centerville has amassed in its first two games. Knoxville was able to generate 340 yards on the ground last week in a 56-0 win over Saydel while holding the Eagles to just 17 yards of total offense. You can hear the call on 95.3 KNIA and kniakrls.com starting at 6:30.
