The PCM volleyball team picked up their first Heart of Iowa Conference win Thursday evening with a sweep of Saydel. The Mustangs were able to hold off several Saydel scoring runs in the first two sets, but were able to close out the third in quick fashion. When it was all said and done, it was a 25-20, 25-17, 25-12 PCM win. While it was good to get the win, PCM coach Mike Vittetoe said that there were a lot of points given away.

Celeste Wagaman was the kill leader by far with 12 on the night. No one else had more than three. Shelby Voeller had 20 assists to lead the way in that department. PCM moves to 4-12 on the season and 1-1 in conference play. Their next action comes Tuesday when they host North Polk.
