Not much has changed in south central Iowa in the latest U.S. Drought Monitor Report. Abnormally dry conditions persist in areas primarily along and north of the Des Moines River in Marion County, according to this week’s update. While portions of Warren County have seen between 2-3 inches of rain between reports, less than an inch of precipitation has fallen over the past week in most of Marion County.
