pleasantville-3

It was a rough day for the Pleasantville Trojans, who suffered a 48-12 loss at the hands of Earlham. The contest started off poorly for Pleasantville when Earlham tailback Caleb Swalla sprung for two long touchdown runs to begin the first quarter. By half time, the Trojans found themselves on the wrong end of a 28-0 deficit.

A couple late touchdown passes from Caylor Clark  were enough to avoid an Earlham shutout. Pleasantville Head Coach Mack Jorth told KNIA/KRLS that Monday’s practice will be a critical moment in his team’s season. The Trojan’s will have exactly one week to rebound before their match up at home against Albia on September 20th.
