Historic Pella Trust is celebrating 25 years as a historic preservation organization this fall. Director Jennifer Van Kooten says they will recognize the milestone at their annual meeting on Thursday, October 10th at 6:30 p.m. at the Pella Opera House. The historical preservation organization will host Dave Baker and his presentation titled “The Other Side of the Tracks: The Railroad, Manufacturing, and Industry that Built Pella.” They will also have their annual business review, homeowner and landmark awards, and more, with 25th anniversary cake, hor d’oeuvres, and historic displays.
