The Eagles beat Van Meter (22-24, 21-15 and 15-12), Newton (21-10, 17-21, 15-6), and Grinnell (9-21, 21-19, 15-5) before losing to host Des Moines Christian, who remains undefeated and ranked 13th in 3A (9-21 and 19-21). There’s no rest as an active week continues for Pella Christian, who is now 7-7 overall, when they head to Bondurant for a five game tournament Saturday.
