The Pleasantville Trojan finished non district play 3-1 overall after a 46-14 win over the Albia Blue Demons Friday night. The Trojans would trail 14-6 in the second quarter before scoring 40 unanswered points to cruise to victory. Pleasantville was lead by senior running back Cale Anthony who would have four rushing touchdowns and would add a fifth touchdown with an 80 yard fumble recovery for a touchdown. The Pleasantville defense would be locked in throughout the second half picking off a few Blue Demon passes for touchdowns and not allowing the Blue Demons to get back in the game. Pleasantville Head Coach Mack Jorth tells KNIA/KRLS Sports he was proud of his defensive coaches and seeing different guys step up. Pleasantville will next take on Colfax-Mingo next Friday night as they will celebrate Homecoming and the start of district play.
