It is a particularly light schedule this week for varsity sports at PCM. No varsity events are scheduled to take place until Thursday, when the cross country runners return to competition. It will be one of the biggest events of the fall sports season as PCM will host their only cross country meet of the year. Knoxville and Pella Christian are the other area schools competing at the meet. It starts at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at the Gateway Golf Course in Monroe.

The football team will open district play Friday at Chariton. The Week 5 contest is scheduled for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff.
