A busy day in athletics is on tap today for Pleasantville. The cross country runners will be back in action at Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont after over a week off from competition. Locally, Melcher-Dallas and Southeast Warren are also among the 12 schools competing. Action gets underway at 4:30 p.m. in Eddyville.

The Trojan volleyball team will continue their successful season by hosting Ogden this evening. Pleasantville is 11-3 on the season and 4-1 in West Central Conference play. It will be a pivotal match, as Ogden is 3-1 in the conference. First serve of the varsity contest is 7:00 p.m. at Pleasantville High School.
