Little Hawkeye Conference volleyball action returns tonight with both Tulip City teams on the road. Pella travels to Newton and the Eagles are heading to Grinnell. Both teams are seeking to find more traction as the second half of conference competition begins — the Eagles are seeking their first league win and the Lady Dutch are 1-2. Head Coach Catie Brand says this week’s conference match comes during a time of celebration with homecoming, which she hopes her young team can focus through and find success. After a weekend facing some of the best cross country teams in the Midwest at the Heartland Classic in Pella this weekend, the Little and Lady Dutch will compete against opponents from closer to home at the Newton course this evening.
