The Indianola boys and girls cross country and girls swimming teams all stayed in Indianola for their competitions Thursday night, with all teams performing well. The Indians girls cross country squad placed second in the nine team meet with 70 points. Top runner Emily Naughton was the top Indian runner placing third with a time of 19:10, while Joey Werling was 10th, Ashley Rockhold was 11th, and Bailey Blake 17th. The Indians boys placed third in the meet with 58 points, with sophomore Logan Hoger earning a second place finish with a time of 17:05. Job Borgmeye placed 10th, Curtis Johnson placed 11th, and Ryder Downey placed 16th.

The Indians girls swimming team won their meet with Marshalltown and Oskaloosa 126-57. Indianola finished first in 9 of 11 events. Event winners were Kodi Cram, Kinsli Cram, Emily Thompson, Jorja Culver, Brooklyn Pottebaum, Julian Bacon, Katie Thompson and Shay Black. The Indians compete next on Saturday at the Lincoln Invitational.
