Funeral services for Carl W. Brain, age 87, will be held on Saturday, October 5th at 10:00 am in the Hedrick-Martinsburg United Methodist Church in Hedrick. As was Carl’s wish he will be cremated following the funeral ceremony. Visitation will begin Friday, October 4th after noon in the Hedrick-Martinsburg United Methodist Church in Hedrick with the family present from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. There will be a Masonic Service at 7:00 pm Friday to pay tribute to Carl’s 50 plus years of membership. Memorials may be made to Pekin Community Scholarship Fund.
