A forum for candidates running for spots on the Indianola City Council was held last night in the Black Box Theatre on the Simpson College Campus. All six candidates running for the three open seats were involved in the forum.

Steve Armstrong – Ward 3
Gwen Schroder – Ward 3
Shirley Clark – At-Large
Heather Hulen – At-Large

Questions were asked on city policy, taxes, housing, and what their vision of the future of Indianola looks like. The forum was broadcast live on KNIA, and a recording is available in the “Listen Live” tab on KNIAKRLS.com.
