The City of Pella has two new department leaders. Doy Ousley is the new telecommunications director, bringing more than three decades of experience. Ousley will oversee the development of the new municipal telecommunications utility, with construction of the fiber network beginning next spring. Mara Strickler is the new Pella Public Library Director, who has spent more than a decade working in libraries. She’s looking forward to becoming familiar with the community and
learning how the library can best serve the people of Pella.
