The Indianola City Council met in regular session Monday evening. Mayor Kelly Shaw read two proclamations, declaring October 16th as Support Your Local Chamber of Commerce Day, and the month of October as Community Planning Month. The council approved a zoning amendment, an ordinance on a right-of-way vacation, the vacation of an alley, and a rezoning request. The council approved a resolution supporting the Warren County Courthouse and Jail Project, approved agreements for the City Hall/Public Safety Building assessment project, and gave direction to city staff to continue the planning process for street stormwater improvements and improvements regarding Hillcrest and South K Street.
