To go along with Fire Prevention Week, the Indianola Public Safety Open House is tomorrow, allowing the public to come view equipment and talk with the firefighters and paramedics, police officers, and sheriff’s deputies. Firefighter Bob Soukup tells KNIA News the Indianola Fire Department wants the public to know the department is for the people, and without their support it would not run as well as it does. The Indianola Fire Department, Indianola Police Department, and the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, and Superheroes from the Iowa League of Heroes will be present. The Public Safety Open House will take place at the Indianola Fire Department from 6 to 8pm.
