The Knoxville School Board met in regular session Monday. The board approved a logo rebranding plan and service agreement with Lettermen Creative to brand and trademark a new Knoxville Panther logo. They approved the creation of a Technology Task Force to evaluate  the school website, student information system and learning management system. The board approved a recommendation to reject all bids associated with the construction of a new storage unit due to the bids being too high as well as approved a voluntary early retirement offering for up to 15 individuals who will have until January 10th of 2020 to apply. The board approved a financing proposal for approval of a resolution directing the sale of $3,813,000 of school infrastructure sales, service and use tax revenue refunding bonds. They approved a resolution authorizing the redemption of outstanding school infrastructure sales, service and use tax revenue refunding bonds as well as reviewed policies regarding purpose of non-instructional services and business services.
