Simpson College has released the details on the current capital campaign project, Imagine the Impact, which has raised over $20 million dollars in an attempt to grow the college’s endowment to $100 million. The campaign has already brought renovations to Carver Science Hall, including new classrooms and chemistry and biology labs. The Imagine the Impact campaign will also include adding a third story to Dunn Library, which will be the new home of Simpson’s Teacher Education Department. A search for a new Simpson College President is underway, and the Simpson Board of Directors have recently decided to revise the campaign goal and timeline to $25 million by May 31, 2020 that would be completed by the new President.
