
The Indianola City Council met in regular session Monday evening. The council first went into closed session to discuss potential litigation. After the closed session concluded, the council received a report from City Treasurer Doug Shull, heard a report from Councilman John Parker about the Greater Des Moines Convention, approved a resolution for the sale of a dangerous and dilapidated property to Cabin Coffee, and approved several plat requests. After the regular meeting, the council held a study meeting on the city hall/public safety project, heard a report on the library, and reviewed the draft budget.
