The Iowa High School Volleyball postseason begins today, with a handful of local teams beginning what they hope is a long road to the U.S. Cellular Center in Cedar Rapids.

Pella Christian will open up the gym at Eagle Lane for likely the final time before basketball begins when they welcome I-35 to open the Class 2A Regional Playoffs.

The Roadrunners come in at 3-18 overall, while the Eagles stand at 17-20 after navigating the large school Little Hawkeye Conference.

Head Coach Dr. Joanna Settles says the key for the Eagles is to focus on themselves and not look at what their opponent’s record is or how they’ve played, as elimination games can bring out the best in teams with their seasons on the line.
