Indianola Parks and Rec hosted their annual Children’s Costume Party on the downtown Indianola square Saturday morning. Costumes ranging from video game characters, witches, superheroes, balloons, and man’s best friend walked the square and were judged in separate categories. Kathy Kester with Indianola Parks and Rec tells KNIA News this event has been going on for such a long time it is good to see families come back year after year and even see kids who participated in it are now bringing their kids too. The KNIA Big Red Radio was on location on the square playing halloween music and making announcements.
