In the first dual of the season, the Central wrestling team dominated William Penn 52-0 Thursday evening to open the winter sports season in P.H. Kuyper Gymnasium. Not only did the Dutch win all 10 weight classes, they registered pins in five of those matches. Four of those came consecutively, starting with senior Daniel Radcliffe at 141.

Rob Areyano at 149, 157-pounder Luke Condy, Collin Groleau at 165, and heavyweight Duncan Lee all pinned their Statesman opponents. The Dutch move to 1-0 and will be back in action Saturday morning at the Millikin Open in Decatur, Illinois. First matches of the day get underway at 9:00 a.m.
