The Helping Hand of Warren County is hosting a community open house later this week, inviting the public to see some of the changes made at the food pantry and learn how to get involved. Executive Director Sue Wilson tells KNIA News The Helping Hand has made several policy changes in the past few months, including getting rid of the voucher system and increasing the rate that residents can receive help. The community open house will take place on Sunday from 2-4pm with light snacks and beverages provided. For more information on The Helping Hand, tune in to today’s Let’s Talk Indianola.
