The Indianola Chamber of Commerce is planning for the 2019 Holiday Celebration, but will be much different than in previous years. Indianola Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Brenda Easter tells KNIA News with all the changes to the square, with the obvious one being the courthouse being gone and the fencing in place, but another thing many people might not take into account is the lack of lighting.

“In the past we’ve always ended our event with a lighted parade. So this year we are taking the lighted parade participants and are going to park them around the interior of the square along the fence to light it up, we don’t have lights otherwise. So I think it’s really going to be fun. And then families and kids can walk around and enjoy the displays.”
