The Pella City Council will discuss several topics following regular business at their meeting Tuesday. At policy and planning, council intends to consider a potential timeline for phase II of improvements to the Oost Poort alley, and how that relates to a related parking project near the old Second Christian Reformed Church. Council will also review a draft ordinance that would permit minors to enter into establishments where alcohol is sold but accounts for less than half of total sales, regardless of what the other 51 percent would include. The Pella City Council meeting begins at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Public Safety Complex.
