Two former Knoxville Football Players will continue their season for at least one more week at various levels of the NCAA Football Playoffs. Connor Bailey, who plays for Wartburg, earned game in the Division three playoffs after the Knights won a share with Central College of the American Rivers Conference. Wartburg will travel to Hope College in Michigan Saturday for the first round contest. A win by the Knights would pit them against either Monmouth, Illinois or division three power Wisconsin-White Water. At the Division Two level Brock Caviness gets to extend his career for another week after Northwest Missouri State won the MIAA title and got an automatic bid into the playoffs. The Bearcats will host Harding University this Saturday. A win would have the Bearcats playing either Lindenwood of Missouri or Ouachita Baptist in round two.
