A Newton man was arrested Monday following an incident which occurred in December of 2018. According to court documents on December 31st of 2018 a burglary report was taken by law enforcement at a rental storage facility in Pleasantville in which $2,148 worth of items were stolen. During the investigation it was determined that 21-year-old Scot Stewart Jr. of Newton had entered the storage facility and had taken the items. Stewart was arrested and charged with burglary 3rd degree, a class D felony. Stewart’s father, Scot Stewart Sr., was also arrested and charged with burglary 3rd degree on Sunday, November 3rd for the same incident.
