The Pleasantville girls’ basketball team will have an abundance of youth this season. The Trojans graduated seven seniors from last year’s team that finished 9-11. Despite the experience, they finished ninth in the West Central Conference.

The top two scorers from last year are gone, meaning it’ll be a new-look team this year. Only two seniors and two juniors are on this year’s roster, so it’ll be a good opportunity for younger players to gain valuable varsity experience.

Pleasantville will get their season started Monday when they host Saydel in non-conference action.
