The Season starts tonight for the Pleasantville Trojans Girls Basketball team, against the Saydel Eagles. The Eagles season started last week in a blowout loss to Grandview Park Baptist.
Trojans Head Coach Jeff Cook says the said the plan for the game is to press them and see what kind of offense they can develop.
Coach Cook also emphasized the main goal is just to play hard nosed defense and really get up in the opponent’s grill, trying to frustrate them. He also plans to use the bench quite a bit adding that they will run “9-10 deep”.
