The Indianola boys basketball team traveled to Fort Dodge to open their season Monday night, falling to the Dodgers in a back and forth contest 61-59. Indianola held a 30-28 lead at halftime after a close first half, that continued in a back and forth second half that saw several lead changes. The Indians led 57-54 with two minutes remaining, but couldn’t hold on and eventually took the loss. The Indians were led by Caden Rehmeier with 20 points, and 17 from AJ Toigo. The Indians fall to 0-1 on the season, and will stay on the road at Norwalk Friday night to start Little Hawkeye Conference play.
