The famed St. Nicholas of the Netherlands made his annual visit to Pella Saturday morning. Sinterklaas made his way down Franklin Street in a parade and addressed the community on the Tulip Toren.

Following his address, which also featured comments from the 2020 Tulip Queen Hanna Kendall, Mayor Jim Mueller, Tulip Time Town Crier Kelvin Bokhoven, and Burgemeester Randy Sikkema, Sinterklaas and the Tulip Time Royal Court met with children at Scholte Church. The annual celebration is held by the Pella Historical Society and Museums, who has their Christmas Walk in the Historical Village continuing throughout the month of December.
