A burst of winter air will start the work week for those throughout south central Iowa. Wind chills are expected to dip as low as near zero degrees today and continue through Tuesday. All who plan to be outside during the coldest times are reminded to bundle up and use extra precautions. Temperatures are expected to bounce back relatively quickly later this week, with highs approaching 40 by Thursday afternoon. Stay tuned to KNIA/KRLS for the latest winter weather information.
