The Melcher-Dallas Lions Club will conduct a Christmas Spirit Day event today at the Melcher-Dallas Community Center located at 112 Northeast Main Street in Melcher-Dallas. The event will run from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. and will feature an Elf Shop for kids to shop as well as preschool students singing at 10:30 a.m. Following the singing, Santa will make a visit at 11 a.m. and will take pictures and hand out gifts. Raffle drawings will also be held throughout the event with participants having the chance to win a 6’ Christmas tree containing gift cards and lottery tickets valued at over $200. Raffle tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5 with all proceeds going to the Melcher-Dallas Lions Club to support community projects like this. For more information contact the Melcher-Dallas Lions Club.
