The PCM basketball teams were not in action Friday night after games on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. For the Mustang girls, a 3-1 start has turned into consecutive losses to ranked teams, and a .500 record heading into next week. Despite the recent struggles, Head Coach Jeff Lindsay says that his team will be in good shape as long as they stay the course and improve on consistency.

“We’ve got several tough teams in our conference and several tough teams on our schedule. But we feel as long as we continue working on what we’ve been working on defensively, and continue to get more people involved offensively, and that’s a key also for us. More girls have to step up and be consistent scorers for us. And if that happens, we’re going to be in good shape.”

PCM has two road games next week. Tuesday is the long road trip to Greene County. That will air as part of a girl-boy doubleheader on the KRLS3 stream. The 2019 portion of the schedule concludes next Friday at Nevada.
