The Knoxville Public Library held a gingerbread house Make and Take event Monday. The library allowed children the opportunity to build gingerbread houses and decorate cookies to take home. Seven-year-old Kylie Hinton, who participated in the Make and Take tells KNIA/KRLS News she enjoyed making the gingerbread houses but liked decorating and eating the cookie the best. Following Monday’s Make and Take event the library will be closed today and Wednesday, December 25th for the Christmas holiday.
