A Pella man faces criminal charges after a search warrant was executed by the Mid Iowa Narcotics Enforcement Task Force earlier this week. Terrance Partee, 46, was charged with a controlled substance violation and failure to affix drug tax stamp, both class D felonies. According to court records, officers found Partee at a residence on East 2nd Street in Pella, with detectives locating a green, leafy substance that field tested positive for THC, weighing approximately 152 grams. Partee has also been charged with violating his probation after he pled guilty in January 2019 to a controlled substance violation, which was also a class D felony. Additional felony charges were dismissed as part of a plea agreement. He was arrested in May of 2018 after the Mid Iowa Narcotics Enforcement Task Force and Pella Police Department executed a search warrant and found 40 plants and over nine ounces of material that field-tested positive as marijuana.
