It was a season to remember for the Central men’s soccer team. The Dutch won their first ever American Rivers Conference title, and received an at-large berth to the NCAA Division III Tournament. While the team lost a heartbreaker in the first round, it was one of the most successful seasons in program history. Head Coach Gary Laidlaw says that his team was able to rally and achieve the goal of the conference title after coming very close in the past.

“Ultimately it was about acknowledging the history that had come before it, knowing that we had been close. And I think that helped motivate these guys, they wanted to get over the hump and get on top. So yeah, that’s really gratifying.”
