As local residents plan to celebrate the New Year they are reminded of local offices that will be closed for the New Year’s holiday. Knoxville City Hall will have regular business hours tomorrow, but will be closed Wednesday. The same is the case for Marion County, as the Courthouse and other county offices will have normal business tomorrow and be closed for the day on Wednesday. The Knoxville Rec Center will be open until 3 p.m. tomorrow, and then be closed for New Year’s Day. No classes will be held tomorrow through Thursday, January 2nd. The Knoxville Public Library will close at 5 o’clock tomorrow, and will be closed all day Wednesday. Knoxville schools will be closed through Wednesday, and reopen to resume the school year on Thursday.
