The Marion County Board of Supervisors as well as the Knoxville City Council will hold a special joint meeting tomorrow. The board and the council will hold a discussion to consider the acceptance of a Memorandum of Agreement between the Iowa State Historic Preservation Office, Marion County and the City of Knoxville regarding post-conveyance identification, mitigation, minimization and avoidance of historic resources at the former Knoxville Veterans Affairs Campus. The meeting will begin at 1 p.m. and will be held inside the Municipal Building Council Chambers. Following the meeting a joint press conference will be held at 2 p.m. at the Grand Theatre in Knoxville.
