The Pella School Board held its first meeting of the new year Monday. The board reviewed course proposals for the next academic year, including Spanish V, intro into early childhood education, as well as practicum for that program, and emergency care for early childhood. The board also approved discontinuing a sharing agreement for a transportation director with Knoxville, the modified supplement for At-Risk dropout prevention, and appointed members to the Marion and Mahaska County Conference Boards. During a work session, the board reviewed Superintendent Greg Ebeling’s performance and discussed the teacher salary schedule, as well as reviewed goals for the upcoming year.
