The Knoxville Community School District is wanting to help support parents and caregivers as their children continue to grow and develop. The district is holding a special Parent/Caregiver University on the last Monday of every month starting Monday, January 27th. Intervention Strategist Nick Payton with the district tells KNIA/KRLS News parents and caregivers will learn different topics to help develop positive skills for addressing common parenting challenges as well as get support from other adults and help realizing they are awesome. The first Parent/Caregiver University event is titled Did Your Doctor Forget to Send You Home with a Parenting Manual and will be held from 4:30 p.m. until 5:45 p.m. at the Knoxville High School Media Center.
