The annual All-City Speech night for the Pella community will be held at Pella High School this winter. The event bringing Pella and Pella Christian speech students together will be held on Thursday, January 30, at 7:00 p.m. Performance events include: readers theatre, choral reading, one-act play, ensembles, musical theatre, and film. Both Pella Christian and Pella Community schools will be performing all of their events at Iowa High School Speech Association competitions on Saturdays, but the evening is a night for both schools to showcase their pieces to each other. The public is invited and there will be a free-will donation to benefit both schools’ speech programs.
