The Pella Police Department is continuing to accept unused, unwanted, and expired prescription drugs at a permanent drop box in their lobby. In June 2019, the department placed a drop off site, and since then, have disposed of nearly 130 pounds of drugs. Residents can drop off unused or expired prescriptions anonymously anytime, day or night, in their prescription drop off box in the lobby of the Police Department at the corner of Main and Liberty Street.
